Daniel Earle

Daniel Earle currently serves as a Vice President and Director at TD Securities Inc., which is the investment banking subsidiary of TD Bank Group, one of the largest financial service providers in North America.  Daniel has been with the firm since 2007, serving as an equity research analyst and specifically covering the precious metals sector.  As an equity analyst, he provides in-depth analysis and prescient recommendations on precious metals equities, the sector at large, and the precious metals themselves.  During his term, he has enjoyed the distinction of being a top-ranked analyst in industry surveys by Brendan Wood and StarMine.       Now with over a decade of experience in the mining sector, Mr. Earle began his professional career by forming Roxy Resources Inc. in Toronto, Canada.  As President and CEO of Roxy Resources, he succeeded in raising funds for project evaluation, acquisition and exploration programs in China.  After completing due diligence on more than 180 gold, silver and base metals projects, efforts that included numerous mining site visits, he negotiated the acquisition of two mining assets, one originating from a government exploration bureau and the second from a private mining company.  Through this process, he gained fundamental due diligence experience, overseeing title audits, taking part in community social relations activities and overseeing environmental reviews.    Following his tenure at Roxy, Mr. Earle served as President and COO of Xtra Gold Resources Corp., a gold exploration company focused on a large, greenfield land package in Ghana, West Africa.  At Xtra Gold, he had the opportunity to interface with government environmental and permitting authorities in an effort to obtain exploration permits, as well as mineral rights permits and engage the local communities to to develop effective community social relations programs.  In addition, Mr. Earle’s time at Xtra Gold saw him leading in the design and implementation of an early-stage exploration program that eventually led to the high-grade Kibi gold discovery.    In 2007, Mr. Earle shifted focus to the financial side of the mining sector and became a Vice President at Fraser Mackenzie Inc., a Toronto-based brokerage firm that successfully raised significant funds for junior resource companies.    In addition to his industry experience as an equities research analyst, Daniel is an alumni of the Lassonde Mineral Engineering Program at the University of Toronto, graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science with high distinction in 2003.  He was also a recipient of the prestigious Lassonde Scholarship and the Reginald J. Redrupp Award.
